My objectives and lens just arrived from China and I am printing the part for the high-res upgrade.
The documentation seems to imply I will need a new body? I am not doing the beamsplitter so I am happy to save some time and plastic if I don’t need a new body.
I just finished the high-res optics module, and happy to report the old basic body work just fine.
You got there before anyone replied. The microscope body is the same. Sometimes you would need a deeper base box or the optics hits the Pi. For the discussion of infinity corrected lens and a deeper base, here: (Main Body 6.1.1 too short with optics_picamera_2_rms_infinity objective).
