Plant physiology application

Hi all
Just one more application for the OFM
A friend at the agronomy faculty tested the microscope (manual stage/webcam/40x objective) in the field with students to observe morphophysiological differences between different plant leaf provenances (nursery, spontaneous and restored)

They were really happy with this simple microscope setup (just one cable to plug the webcam) and with the performance that was enough to look and count leaf stomata

That is really good to hear. I did not think that this type of application needed 40×, but great that it works so well. The micrographs are really clear.
