The dovetail mount for the condenser on the cartesian microscope has a cutout for the Z stepper, but on the delta stage it isn’t necessary. I think it looks better without, so I just commented out the z_motor_clearance() section in the illumination_arm() module in illumination.scad, but it would be easy to make this conditional.
