Just wanted to share my Block Stage build. I’ve managed to get it to move using an Arduino Nano and python with the sangaboard library.
It was initially meant to be used for a scanning laser microscope that uses a laser from a DVD drive. The laser part however didn’t work so i’m left with a cool stage sitting on my desk 
I have a microscope setup with stitching/stacking that is missing a stage.
i’m in the UK. I think the range of motion for the block stage is a bit small for a normal microscope tho? That’s why i’m in the process of building a Delta Stage Microscope.
