I have a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W at home and I want to use them.
I think that the software v2 will install on a Pi zero2. @dgrosen tried it New RPI Zero 2 module - #8 by dgrosen. He did the full desktop operating system version, which was extremely sluggish. I don’t think he tried the ‘lite’ version
I think that it should be Ok if you have the ‘lite’ version of the softwate v2 and then operate it from another pc. It would be best to use over a USB-ethernet connection rather than wifi, the latency on wifi is annoying. Please do let us know how you get on if you try it.
The newer v3 development software will not work on anything other than Pi4. The automatic scanning needs the power of a Pi4. In principle a cut-down version could be made to work on other Pi versions, but that would be quite a lot of development work and is not currently on the roadmap.
