Which hardware features would you most like to see in future versions?
Fluorescence: could we use a fibre coupled laser? Could we put the beamsplitter in the infinity-corrected space for the infinity-corrected microscope?
Motor boards: would be interesting to explore using other steppers (bipolar, NEMA17) - NB Pierre and others in Peru have done this but maybe not on the forum?
Illumination - it would be great to make alignment easier, perhaps adding in an aperture so it’s more obvious when things are in the right place. An updated illumination is in the works for v7 though won’t change alignment much initially.
