OpenFlexure Microscope v7.0.0-beta2 released

I’m pleased to report the latest beta has now been built and put up on our build server:

https://build.openflexure.org/openflexure-microscope/v7.0.0-beta2/

This includes many small tweaks, including updated electronics drawer/base, instructions fixes, and a new band insertion tool. We hope beta 3 will follow in a month or two, with a number of improvements, see the milestone on gitlab for progress.

hi would this work on a rasberry pi 5 ?

The current version of the software (v2.10.1) will only work up to the Pi4 (3B+ and 4 both work well). It also only works with the Pi camera v2.1 (also called v2).

The next software release (v3.0) is likely to allow other Pi cameras, but probably still not Pi5 at first.
