Cutting Stage Tabs

Hi all. Should these tabs be cut after the print is complete or left intact? There are 4 in total constraining the forward stage legs to the body.

I was flexing a recent print and one of the forward stage legs sheared. After playing around with the motion I noted that there is a significant force as the stage legs try to flex but are constrained here. Of course perhaps this is by design and I was just over zealous in my flexing!

Yes, they should be cut. They stabilise it during the print, but jam the motion

I thought there was a picture in the instructions. It is only in the words, last part of step 1 on that page.
