Time to update your sangaboard firmware?

Hi everyone!

If you have a Sangaboard v0.5 we recommend that you update your firmware to be v0.1.4. This should prevent stalling and missing steps when the virtual EPROM is being written to, giving smoother operation.

This is particularly importand for the large scans that are possible with the v3 alpha software.

Getting the firmware:

You can get the .uf2 file from our build server.

Doing the update.

Our new (and pretty empty) wiki has instructions for updating the firmware.

There is also a hex file there, is it for compatible controller?

Yeah, should be on the same link.

As far as I understand the change shouldn’t affect the compatible controller as it has real EEPROM not emulated so didn’t suffer the bug in the first place.
