Iam encountering a problem where the OpenFlexure Microscope software opens but only displays a white screen with no controls or interface elements.
The software doesn’t crash, but I can’t interact with it. I have tried restarting my computer, reinstalling the software, and checking for missing dependencies, but nothing has resolved the issue.
My microscope hardware seems to be functioning properly, so I suspect this might be a graphics driver issue, a software bug, or a problem with my system configuration.
Has anyone else faced this issue? Any troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated!
Oh no! Do you know what version of the Raspberry Pi you have (as in is it a 4B)?
Do any other programs on your computer show this issue?
It should also be possible to reach the microscope through the web browser. I think you just need to type localhost into the browser. Does this work or is it also blank?
Are you running the microscope with a screen plugged in to the Pi in the microscope, or are you accesing it from another computer on wifi or with an ethernet cable? From another computer you would use microscope:5000 or microscope.local:5000 in a browser window. Which name works depends upon the exact configuration of your network.
