I created an Open Flexure microscope and was amazed by its performance and functions. I wondered if I could achieve the same functionality with my old biological microscope, so I created an attachment to connect the motor to the microscope.
Because the gear ratios are significantly different, there is a risk that the stage will be damaged if auto-calibration is performed as is because the movement range will be exceeded.
However, it is very useful for automating the shooting of mosaic photographs.
