My local hardware store is selling OFM parts.
Have they got 1 3/16 × 5/64? The rubber is not specified, so probably butyl rubber, which will perish more rapidly than Viton.
They might not be exactly the spec, but parts you can obtain are worth a lot! It’s nice to find that in a shop near you The O rings are one of those items that are fine if you want 100, but are really annoying to buy 5 of.
It’s a pain that it’s hard to specify the mechanical properties (which is what matters to us) but genuine Viton is probably better than regular Nitrile O rings. If they are sold for plumbing use, they’re probably Nitrile. Viton is more durable, and would be sold for automotive/chemical use (it’s oil resistant among other things).
The Danco numbers seem to be their own. The AS568B size number is 025, which would be Danco #55. The Danco numbers are not sequential, adjacent sizes AS568B 024 and 026 are Danco #29 and #86.
