Hi everyone, I have been trying to do a scan on a malaria positive blood sample, but after some two or more points of navigation or scanning the system automatically disconnects and this is the first time it’s happening
Welcome to the Forum @JABoateng1 . Could you give a few more details of the version of the hardware and software that you are using.
Are you using the software from the website, which is v2.11 (look in ‘about’ on the microscope web app interface)? Or are you using the development version v3-alpha2 or alpha3 from the thread on this Forum? There is a report of what sounds to be a similar issue to what you have found, which is related to the v3.0.0-alpha - Network Lost only during smart scanning on the v3 server . Are your symptoms similar to those?
Ok thanks I will check it out but I’m using v2.11
If you are on v2 then it is not related to a software problem.
This type of issue is often related to the SD card or to the camera cable, but how to tell is not simple. Are you accessing the Microscope with a keyboard and mouse on the Pi in the Microscope or accessing it remotely from another computer?
Are you only losing the connection to the web app? does the scan actually continue but you cannot see the live view (you should be able to tell that the motors are moving)?
