Difference between announcements and contributions

When I added the announcements section I didn’t really think about that the contributions section is very similar. The only difference really is that only forum “staff” and users with “trust level 2” or above can post an announcement.

Should we merge these back into one category and allow everyone to post in the same place?

I think announcements is probably well sited for the OpenFlexure project to announce that we have a new project, or a new release, or a new paper.

Contributions is probably more for people that have (or want to) make changes to the project but are unsure how best to share them.
