Hi,
I just assembled my first microscope - but I appear to have quite a lot of dirt on my sensor. Can anyone suggest a way to clean this without destroying it, or making it worse?

99.9% Isopropyl alcohol and a cotton bud / lens cloth should be fine. Just need to be gentle 
Thanks - that did the trick. I was concerned that I might collect fibres from the cotton bud so I gave it a good swish in the IPA first and then shook of the excess before tackling the sensor.
