I haven’t posted in a while which doesnt mean I have not been playing with the OFM. This time I decided to see if there was any difference using the high-resolution with a 40x objective versus the low-cost option.
Left image using 40x and right image using low-cost. I zoomed the images to have a similar magnificaiton of the specimen.
here, both at 100% zoom
and here zooming the low-cost to match the high-resolution
It is no surprise that both options render very good diagnostic images. The ones using a 40x are more crisp compared to the low-cost ones. The low-cost one seems to have better stitching.
