Dear Flexers, I found this hack which might be worth a try if you don’t like the point source most LEDs have and lack a condenser lens… > **[How to Diffuse an LED](https://www.instructables.com/how-to-defuse-an-LED/)** > > How to Diffuse an LED: If you just got a bunch of cool LED's and you want to diffuse them (for various reasons) this is the instructable for you! Brilliant. Thanks for this. We need to update the doc to be clear on this. Sanding them works well. I have also found that stretching PTFE tape (plumbing tape) over the LED diffuses it quite well too. ---

@AmateurEngineer I think we need to update the doc on this. Thanks for sharing this info with us. I am also trying to find out more tools. 🙂
